IELTS/PTE:

IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is a standardized test that assesses the English language proficiency of non-native speakers who want to study, work or migrate to an English-speaking country.

IELTS has two versions: Academic and General Training.
The Academic version is for those who want to pursue higher education or professional registration in an English-speaking environment. The General Training version is for those who want to work, train, study at a secondary school or migrate to an English-speaking country.

PTE stands for Pearson Test of English Academic, which is a computer-based test that measures your English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. PTE is accepted by many universities, colleges, and professional bodies around the world, as well as for migration, study and work purposes in some countries.
